Brand Nubian in Crotona Park, Bronx
Big up to Ishmael for making a special Ital plate for me. Long trek up to Crotona Park but well
worth it. Sadat X and Lord Jamar hit the stage first then Puba (rocking airmax '95's) got on and they ran through the old and the new. Sadat X impressed especially with a coupla acapella freestyles. AG seemed to have the best time outta everybody. Kool Herc came and gave his blessings and announced next week he's bringing strictly vinyl and to bring your dancing shoes!

Just another wednesday in our little town...
Ah nothing like an 85 degree day in late spring on your day off. Hopped on my bike and met up with my boy Danny and some friends at Fort Tilden beach. He brought a cooler of Modelo Especials and an ipod full of classics. Much love for my Puma Ventoux, biker classic re-issues. Then off to Betsy Head Park to see the legendary Roy Ayers vibe out in East New York!

Jay Electronica in Red Hook

The kickoff for summerstage, Jay Electronica did his thing in the park. Though mid set he brought heads from the crowd to rock the mic and let's just say leave it to the pros. Speaking of which he coerced Pharoahe Monch up there to spit after earlier hinting of Nas and Monch ripped it. The rain held off and it was a beautiful evening but the plug was pulled when they just couldn't stop with the foul language...
